the OCA during 2007 to the benefit of all members interested in this form
of the sport, which incidentally is enormous fun
Organisers of the Nene Whitewater Centre
weekend every May. Great event and great people. Even though it was wet,
windy and cold this year it was still excellent. £20 for two days
paddling on the course and one night camping. The races on the first day
are not to be missed. If you were not gagging in your boat at the finish
then quite frankly chaps, you weren't trying hard enough.
This is for the Millets website in general,
and the wonderful ladies from the Newark store in particular. They put up
a good selection of tents for our open weekend and stayed the whole time
including camping on the Saturday night.
